Saputo and FitSpirit Renew a Partnership Supporting Active Teens
Kanesa D — May 6, 2025 — Social Good
Saputo is renewing its partnership with FitSpirit, a Québec-based non-profit that inspires teenage girls to lead active, healthy lives. Rooted in the belief that movement is essential for both physical and mental well-being, Saputo is investing $450,000 over the next three years to expand FitSpirit’s reach and impact across the province.
This renewed support will help scale access to programs designed to empower young girls through sport and physical activity—encouraging lifelong habits that promote confidence, connection, and overall health. For Saputo, this collaboration is an investment in future generations and in building stronger, healthier communities.
“We firmly believe that physical activity is essential for the development of young girls,” said Haig Poutchigian, President and Chief Operating Officer of Saputo’s Dairy Division (Canada). “By renewing our partnership with FitSpirit, we aim to foster healthy habits from an early age and promote long-term well-being.”
