The Roald Dahl Stamps celebrate this famous literary figure. His masterpieces have been immortalized in many ways and now, they will decorate envelopes that contain the written words he so carefully crafted.

His daughter Ophelia says, "I'm so excited that Royal Mail has honoured my father, Roald Dahl, with these stamps. My dad wrote thousands of letters home throughout his life and never dreamed that one day one of his own characters would grace a stamp."

A special set of six Roald Dahl Stamps center around his most famous children's novels: 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' 'Matilda,' 'The Twits,' 'James and the Giant Peach,' 'The Witches' and 'Fantastic Mr. Fox.' The Roald Dahl Stamps were illustrated by Quentin Blake whose work has become synonymous with Dahl's own.
