JBL is expanding its Classic Series with the L150 Classic, a floorstanding speaker for home listeners who wanted the line's vintage look and room-filling scale in a full-size tower instead of a bookshelf cabinet. Bigger than the original, it uses a 15-inch woofer in a 114.6-pound cabinet to give the range its first true flagship floorstander.
Natural walnut veneer keeps the old-school styling, while front level controls let owners tune the sound from the speaker itself. That hands-on setup suits buyers who want room tuning without opening an app.
The L150 Classic is set to arrive in 2027, with its debut in Warsaw introducing a new flagship to JBL’s retro-inspired range. At $9,999 per pair, the floorstanding speakers combine vintage styling with a substantial 15-inch woofer, giving listeners a full-size option for building a home stereo system around the Classic Series.
