Cult of the Lamb, the darkly adorable action roguelike game from Massive Monster and Devolver Digital, is getting a free update on April 25th. The update, titled Relics of the Old Faith, will add new content and features to the game, such as a new biome titled 'The Ruins,' a mysterious and ancient area filled with secrets and dangers.
Aside from the biome, the update is packaged with: a new boss: The Guardian, a powerful and ancient protector of the Ruins, a new mechanic: Relics, powerful items that grant unique abilities and effects to the player, a new system: Sacrifices, a way to offer items and followers to the gods in exchange for blessings or curses, and a new mode: Endless Mode, a challenging and infinite mode where the player can test their skills and luck against endless waves of enemies.
The update will also include bug fixes, balance changes, and quality of life improvements. Relics of the Old Faith is a free update for all owners of Cult of the Lamb, which is available on Steam Early Access for $19.99 USD.
