Reebok Unveils Its New Hiking Hybrid, the 'Reebok Beatnik Moc'

Footwear giant Reebok has officially hopped on the mule bandwagon with the launch of its newest hybrid model, the Reebok Beatnik Moc. The new sneaker is based on the brand's 1994 model, which gained a cult fanbase in Japan at the time.

Now, the Reebok Beatnik brings back the retro sandal hybrid, giving it a contemporary hiking-inspired twist. The shoe maintains the original Beatnik's functional design, center seam build, and rigged outsole construction. However, it adds thickness and density to these elements to make the sneaker more hiking-ready. In addition, it introduces suede uppers and neoprene collars. The sneaker will launch in three color variations -- Amber, Sandstone, and Obsidian -- and is set to drop sometime this month on Reebok's website.
