London-based company Bonc Bike has launched an innovative new commuter e-bike that manages to offer the holy grail of balance between high operational range, sleek design and ample power assist.
This particular commuter e-bike is equipped with a rear hub motor that is more than capable of churning out 350 watts of power, with riders able to choose from between a series of five power modes depending on their environment. The Bonc Bike's electric drive also offers power assist capabilities when the rider is going at speeds up to 35 km/h.
Perhaps the most eyecatching feature of this commuter-ebike is the fact that it comes with a range-expanding battery pack that can extend the e-bike's range up to a total of 137 assisted kilometers. Set to be available from February 2022, this commuter e-bike will appeal to urban customers who don't want to worry about having to juice up their e-bike at regular intervals.
