Tej Chauhan’s Rado Diastar Appears at Art Miami During Art Week

Tej Chauhan’s Rado DiaStar appears at Art Miami during art week as a site-specific installation presented by the Swiss watch brand. The project reinterprets Rado’s DiaStar Original through Chauhan’s design language, with oversized sculptural elements derived from the watch’s case, bezel, and bracelet geometry. Components are enlarged and displayed as standalone objects, emphasizing form, proportion, and surface rather than function. The installation presents the DiaStar as a design object rather than a wearable product.

Materials associated with the DiaStar Original, including polished metal surfaces and faceted forms, are used throughout the installation. Display elements are arranged within a minimal environment to isolate individual shapes and finishes. The presentation coincides with Art Miami and Miami Art Week programming and does not function as a retail display. Tej Chauhan’s Rado DiaStar installation explores scale, material, and industrial form through physical exhibition rather than product modification.
