Geely Auto Group Launched the EV Automaker 'Radar Auto' in China

Geely Auto Group, the Hangzhou, China-based automobile manufacturer, announced the launch of a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) lifestyle brand called 'Radar Auto.' Radar Auto is poised as China's first outdoors lifestyle EV brand, which is a label that it achieves by producing all manner of outdoor EVs, such as ATVs, personal bikes, full-size trucks, and more.

The first vehicle released under Radar Auto will be the 'Radar RD6,' an electric truck based on the Sustainable Experience Architecture platform. This is a modular platform that allows for a number of configurations such as the number of motors, the size of the included batteries, and numerous smart features.

Dr Ling Shi Quan, the appointed CEO of Radar Auto, stated that the new company "will be purpose-driven from the outset and that purpose is to allow users to explore the world in a more sustainable way.”
