The PUMA Game Seat is a sleek and comfortable gaming chair designed in collaboration with popular accessory brand Playseat in an effort to "revolutionize gaming."
"We have to start seeing gamers as athletes with requirements particular to their sports as a sports company," said PUMA's global director of innovation, Charles Johnson and suggests a customizable seat with multiple sitting positions as a solution to this challenge. The PUMA Game Seat addresses this by offering three sitting positions for users -- including a comfortable cruising mode, a second mode that simulates an attack and a third that allows players to lean forward and attack an opponent.
By recognizing the growing prevalence of eSports entertainment and players' new status as virtual athletes, PUMA and Playseat create a modular game chair that goes beyond aesthetics to offer comfort and customization.
