Reworked Leather Handbag Lines

Proenza Schouler Relaunches the PS1 Walker

The PS1 Walker is Proenza Schouler’s relaunched take on its Y2K-era It-bag, redesigned by creative director Rachel Scott with input from Reed Krakoff and featuring a simplified facade and softer, slouchier leather. The remake keeps the messenger silhouette and the classic silver latch flanked by buckle straps, while paring back front-flap layers and stitching for a cleaner look.

The collection arrives in three sizes with price points listed at $1,650 for the mini, $2,090 for the medium and $2,590 for the large. Colorways span classic black, white and tan alongside chrome yellow and mellow blue, and the bag is offered in several suede shades. All pieces are made in Italy.

By balancing practical messenger styling with elevated materials and refined detailing, the PS1 Walker aims to be both luxurious and usable for everyday dressing. It will be available from January and taps into renewed interest in 2000s-era accessories.
