Nike's latest athlete collaboration doesn't just carry the name of superstar Kobe Bryant along with them -- they are in fact president-inspired shoes as well. Kobe's latest design is a nod to President Obama's basketball skills -- skills that are, by now, known by many.
This Kobe X Elite 'Commander' colorway is president-inspired, using colors from the Hawaiian prep school that Obama graduated from. The shoes boast a black, blue and yellow theme, the latter two part of the Punahou private school emblem. While Hawaiian colors can be a bit overwhelming, the shoe's design drapes black material in thin stripes over-top of the bright material to calm the look. Finishing them off, there is a presidential seal on the tongue of each shoe -- a pair fit for the "POTUS" himself.
