Celebrating Independence Day in the most multifaceted way, Nike will soon release its line of 'Preserved Icons' sneakers. These patriotic shoes come with a classic design and a versatile feature.
Unlike the star-spangled sneakers Nike has released before, this 4th of July Nike chooses to celebrate with a collection of shoes that pay homage to the evolution of Lady Liberty. Titled the 'Preserved Icons,' these shoes exhibit a heat-activated upper that alters the shoes' metallic colorway. Upon purchase, the 'Preserved Icons' showcase a copper hue that change to a Patina Green when under warmer temperatures.
In addition to the color-shifting attribute, these shoes also feature a white base, star patterned insoles, a green branding badge and a sport lace jewel that mimics the look of the Statue of Liberty's torch.
