British designer Tom Dixon created the new POSE lighting collection which is meant to evoke a sense of minimal aesthetic in an expressive way. It is comprised of a series of lamps that cater to the notion of a structural object. The lamps are defined by their clean geometric lines and a bold monochrome finish, elevating the way that a lamp illuminates a space.
The POSE light comes in two main forms: the Portable light and the Task light -- both of these are inspired by a conical shape which can be seen in areas such as traffic lights, scientific instruments, and lighthouses. There is a light interaction between shadows where arched patterns will show on walls and add a sense of depth.
