Pokémon GO Unveils Special Outfits for Pikachufor Diwali

The team at Pokémon GO is preparing for the festive season of Diwali and celebrates by dressing Pikachu in cultural clothing at the Festival of Lights. The makeover honors the festivities as the electric character is seen wearing a traditional outfit as a part of the campaign which runs from November 1st to the 4th.

Players will find Pikachu dressed up in a pink saree detailed with golden accents and a blouse to match. This is also complemented by a baby pink waistcoat and a bright blue kurta. The designs also integrate Mago Berry patterns to truly celebrate the mango, which is the national fruit of India whilst still maintaining familiarity with the Poké Ball emblem.
