As consumers gear up to see an animated revival of the Peanuts comic strip done in CGI hit the big screens, Nike has unveiled a series of sporty soccer cleats themed after the popular cartoon characters. The athletic footwear features colors, designs and patterns inspired by aesthetic of comic.
The cleats are known as the Good Grief Custom 'Peanuts' Cleats that were custom made for Odell Beckham Jr. to sport on the field. The shoes come in two contrasting colors with the first taking inspiration from character Charlie Brown and his yellow zig-zag shirt with black designs and the other from Brown's dog Snoopy. The Charlie Brown shoe is bright yellow whereas the Snoopy cleat is white. The Snoopy cleats even have a tiny decal of the yellow bird Woodstock on them for added effect.
