'Orientalismo' is a gorgeous Asian-inspired editorial shot by photographer Fabio Piemonte and styled by Kristina Sevostyanova. The photo set features a model wearing a variety of modern minidresses with folding fans and delicate umbrellas to accentuate each look.

Implications - The globalization of pop culture has similarly extended to the fashion world. The Internet allows fashion lovers to virtually visit far-flung locales to gain inspiration from places they may never have visited. Traditional Asian fashion in particular has infected much of North America, with geisha, samurai and Harajuku themes observed in nearly every aspect of the industry.
