Transform Into Optimus Prime With This Hand-Built Costume

Transform yourself into Optimus Prime. Someone in Bristol, UK has put up their hand-built, life-sized Optimus Prime costume up for auction on eBay. Halloween is right around the corner and the seller claims that this Optimus Prime costume has already made them a winner.

The Optimus Prime costume was constructed out of cardboard boxes and Velcro strips, which should make getting in and out fairly simple, although there is no mouth cut out for the mask which would make snacking, eating, drinking and talking a fun challenge. The construction and paint detailing is really quite impressive. The Optimus Prime costume can be yours for a mere $21 (current bid £11). Unfortunately, according to the seller, “the costume doesn’t transform into a lorry and move by itself, so you’ll need to come and collect.”
