Microsoft has scheduled an event on October 3rd titled 'The Future of File Management,' focused on artificial intelligence and OneDrive AI. The company stated that it will unveil a new OneDrive design, a number of new features, both powered by AI and not, as well as what it is referring to as "the next generation of file management across Microsoft 365," as stated in Microsoft's press release.
Given the popularity of both Microsoft's Copilot assistants, and its Bing AI-powered chat engine backed by ChatGPT, it is expected that OneDrive AI will make the file management service a more popular choice as a primary cloud storage service, even when compared to Google Drive or other prominent services.
