Watchmakers BVLGARI introduces the new 'Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic' timepiece, which sets the world record of being the world's thinnest automatic chronograph timepiece. The design is structured after the traditional Gerald Genta design and it has an 8-sided bezel, which inspired the name, measuring out to only be 6.9mm thick.
It is carefully encased in a thin titanium case that undergone sandblasting methods. Additional details include the GMT function adjusted using the pusher by the 9oclock, 55 hours of power reservation, chronographic functions, and small seconds subdials. The core of the functions is the 5.5mm Caliber BVL 318 movement that rotates a rotor by the perimeter of the movement in order to flush both the display and dial back and forth.
