Not content with the "living in the present" philosophy that the self-help industry has championed for years, Numéro Tokyo's May 2014 issue demands a 'Bright Future Now.' In the editorial, Laura Kampman wears a futuristic wardrobe styled by Sarah Ellison-Prat, whose idea of the fashionable future consists of mixed patterns and textures, pewter stilettos and hardware-heavy garments.

In terms of beauty, makeup artist Karan Franjola utilized a heavy amount of cheek highlighter and vampy lipstick, while hair stylist Tamara McNaughton kept things simple with a slicked-down look.
