With the many obvious flaws found in small coolers and snack satchels on the market, you have to wonder if designers even occasionally go to the effort exerted in the development of NuLunch.
Erik Askin did a great deal of research to come up with his clever final concept, looking into the common complaints people have regarding the inconvenience of packing a lunch. Firstly, the BPA-free collection of NuLunch containers is manufactured in ceramic with moisture-sealing silicone lids, enabling them to be safely microwaved. Secondly, those flexible tops can be collapsed for more compact carrying.
Three different sizes of boxes are ideal for different food types and portions, with one special angled receptacle for easy sandwich access. The NuLunch dishes double as plates and bowls and they can be carried in a mod felt and nylon lunchbag.
