Personal AI Documentation Platforms

OurMind Launched Its Notes Platform and Raises €2.1 Million

OurMind, an Amsterdam-based healthtech startup, secured €2.1 million in funding to expand its AI notes platform for reducing administrative workloads in healthcare. Led by former orthopaedic surgeon Paul Koning and co-founders Marco Ferraz, Renan Sales Barros and Fredrik Gustafsson, the company’s platform includes Notes, an AI tool that converts consultation conversations into medical documentation, helping clinicians spend less time on paperwork and more time on patient care.

The funding round was led by 4impact Capital with participation from general practitioners and medical specialists. Founded in 2024, OurMind integrates generative AI into clinical workflows while maintaining GDPR compliance and certifications including ISO27001 and NEN7510. More than 300 general practices and 14 hospitals currently use the platform, which is expanding to support consultation preparation, patient communication and additional administrative workflows.

For healthcare providers, the platform aims to reclaim hours spent on documentation, improve job satisfaction and help address growing workforce pressures.

Ambient Clinical AI
Voice-to-documentation systems are reshaping consultation rooms by turning natural conversations into structured records that reduce clinician burnout and support more patient-focused care models.
Compliant Generative Workflows
Privacy-certified AI embedded inside routine healthcare processes creates room for trusted automation across documentation, preparation, and follow-up tasks.
Administrative Burden Reduction
Rising workforce pressure makes back-office automation a strategic wedge for platforms that improve productivity without expanding clinical headcount.

Sectors Adopting This

Healthcare
Hospitals and general practices are becoming early proving grounds for AI systems that standardize documentation while preserving clinician oversight and patient trust.
Healthtech
Funding momentum around clinical productivity tools signals demand for specialized platforms that combine medical workflows, security certification, and generative AI.
