The Nio ES7 is the latest addition to the China-based automaker's line of electric vehicles. The ES7 is based on the newest proprietary EV platform from the brand that allows for a number of features from remote locking all the way up to self-driving functionality. It is important to note, though, that many of the smart features on the ES7 will only be accessible via a monthly subscription which drivers have the option of opting out of.
The ES7 has a variety of customizations available at the point of sale including varying battery sizes from 75 kWh up to 150 kWh, and a choice of motors between a standard and enhanced motor. The standard configuration is a dual-motor setup that delivers 644 horsepower. With this configuration, the vehicle should reach well over 100 miles of range per charge.
