Taking advantage of the high-profile rivalry between Nike and adidas, an anonymous retail curator known as ShirtNYC added to his series with a selection of simplistic shirts that show the slogans of the popular athletic brands as a single entity.
The apparel is set to be available from adidasnikeshirt.com, where consumers who want to show their desire to have Nike and adidas united can get t-shirts in numerous different colors. On the front of each is an embroidered design that reads "IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING" and "JUST DO IT" underneath.
With this, ShirtNYC works to show how the in line the identities of both brands are -- making for an interesting contrast. It's reported that ShirtNYC boldly described the creations by saying "It’s clear this is an art project, that I’m an artist, and no one is trying to pull the wool over people’s eyes. It’s no different than Andy Warhol and his Campbell soup cans.”
