Dark Cowgirl Fashion

The Nicholas K Fall 2012 Collection is Western-Inspired and Chic

Not many design houses can pull off the western look and make it seem chic and wearable, but the design team duo behind the Nicholas K Fall 2012 collection did just that and executed it flawlessly.

The fashion house is run by siblings Nicholas and Christopher Kunz. The duo's fall offering is certainly unique, with cowboy hats, asymmetrical jackets made of leather and nylon, fur peeking out from underneath shawls, and lots and lots of black and gray.

An incredible amount of layering was balanced out with the fabrics. Leather and wool were paired with nylon and silk, but the constant dark hues maintained an irresistibly edgy feel.

The Nicholas K Fall 2012 collection is sure to become a favorite of New York City fashionistas who are willing to take a walk on the wild side.
