LUG Sports Group, a prominent operator of community-based recreational leagues, has formed a collaborative alliance with Fairgrounds Public Racket Club, a chain of upscale athletic facilities, to jointly administer a first-of-its-kind national pickleball league. This initiative is structured to integrate LUG's operational experience in managing social sports communities with Fairgrounds' network of seven premium venues across Canada.
The objective of this collaboration is to enhance the organizational framework and accessibility of one of the continent's most rapidly expanding athletic activities. LUG, which already coordinates a substantial number of participants in various sports, intends to apply its established model to the national pickleball league and Fairgrounds' locations.
