British heritage outerwear brand Gloverall works in collaboration with Descente ALLTERRAIN on a new iteration of the signature Monty duffle coat. The latest update takes a Gloverall classic and retains most of the original design, featuring more technical updates. Its Japanese partnership details the coat with its own expertise using the special Mizusawa Down material.
This material is made in Descente's factory located in Japan and bonds together using thermocompression methods in place of sewing. This helps retain feather loss and prevents and water from entering as well, which overall helps with heat retention. To ensure that wearers are warm even further, there is also the heat navi system implemented to turn sunlight into stored heat.
