The Monique Lhuillier Fall 2012 collection is nothing like the presentations that fans of the designer are used to seeing. In fact, it was quite a departure. Rather than featuring an array of gorgeous, chiffon-made blush-toned gowns, the designer crossed over to the dark side for fall.
Lhuillier's latest offering is sultry, sexy and made for a modern-day vixen. Think more Megan Fox and Mila Kunis than ethereal starlets like Dakota Fanning and Reese Witherspoon. Smoky eyes and a smoldering gaze are practically requirements to even consider wearing one of these gowns.
As for that red gown with the organza skirt, only time will tell which actress will be donning it on the Academy Awards' red carpet. The Monique Lhuillier Fall 2012 collection is made for awards season.
