Modular Laser Engraving Systems

xTool X1 Combines Swappable Lasers with Automated Cutting

xTool is expanding modular laser engraving systems with the X1, a desktop platform designed to combine multiple laser technologies in one upgradeable machine. Its LaserSwap system allows users to add different laser modules, while synchronized Galvo and Gantry motion combines fast engraving with a larger working area, supporting projects across various materials.

The X1 also features an Automated Creation System that uses three cameras to identify material placement and automatically adjust the working height. Available laser options include CO2, diode, fiber, MOPA, and UV configurations, supporting applications ranging from woodworking to detailed metal marking. Prices start at $3,399.

For xTool, the launch strengthens its position in desktop fabrication equipment. Small businesses and independent creators can expand their production capabilities without purchasing separate machines, potentially reducing equipment costs and simplifying workflows while creating opportunities for customized products and larger production runs.
