Quebec-based outerwear brand OOKPIK recently marked its 15th anniversary with the launch of Mini-Me, its first-ever children's collection, bringing its winterwear expertise to a younger audience.
Designed for kids aged six to 14, the Fall-Winter 2026–2027 collection introduces two unisex styles that balance weather protection with everyday versatility. The Hampton Junior, priced at $214.99 CAD, is a semi-fitted puffer featuring waterproof and windproof construction with recycled polyester insulation. The Royal Junior, priced at $224.99 CAD, offers a straight-cut parka silhouette with waterproof three-layer fabric and durable Cordura shoulder panels.
Available through OOKPIK's website, the collection extends the brand's functional, minimalist design approach to outerwear suited for school commutes, family outings and outdoor activities.
The launch reflects growing interest in practical, versatile children's apparel that delivers the same performance features found in adult clothing. For outerwear brands, expanding established product lines into junior sizes creates an opportunity to reach family shoppers, build brand familiarity with younger consumers and encourage coordinated purchases across generations.
