The Mi Zx Flux app from Adidas allows both iPhone and Android users to capture photos from wherever they wish, and have them printed onto shoes for a more customizable experience.

To be clear, one can't simply print off a photo and stick it onto an already-owned shoe. After taking their own photos or using ones available on the Adidas website, fixing it to the template online and sending in their order, the customized shoes will then be delivered. Many people use fashion as a means of expressing themselves and their personalities, so what better way to do this than by designing one's own kicks? Some restrictions do apply as to what can be printed, but users are free to be as artistic as they want.
