Conveniently toting around a speaker system equipped to blast beats at ear-piercing decibels has been made possible with the Matrix Audio iPro sound system.
Scarcely larger than a golf ball, the 3 watt amplifier is encased in an aluminum shell and can fit snugly into a pocket or purse. It can also be stacked up with other Matrix speakers to increase the volume of the user's floor-rattling beats of choice.
Available in a multitude of colors, the little cubes may also soon be reworked to include a rubberized version for those prone to dropping their gadgets due to butterfingers.
Prices are still being finalized before the product hits the mass market, but the company expects the bite-sized speakers will run at about $50 US each.
