The Mara Hoffman Spring 2012 collection is an exotic compilation of bright colors and fun prints.
Debuted at the New York Fashion Week, the line featured a slew of styles. From jumpsuits to caftans to column dresses, the line carries a fierce attitude. Inspired by the women of Mexico and iconic female painter Frida Kahlo, the line is an embellishment of traditional tropical characteristics. The designer uses printed silks and wood cut accessories in a modern way. The woven and geometric designs are combined with seed-beading and neon embroidery for a perfect juxtaposition of styles. The designer called the models her ‘Mexican Mamas,’ adorning them with giant fruity updos with fern detailing.
The Mara Hoffman Spring 2012 collection is a bohemian delight for the free-wheeling, free-loving fashionista.
