Lotte Group has launched the 'Lotte Caliverse,' an AI-driven, 3D entertainment experience integrated with blockchain technology. This innovative virtual world is supported by over 90 Lotte Group businesses spanning multiple industries, including "retail, chemicals, financial services, and hospitality; featuring prominent brands such as Givenchy, MCM, L’Occitane, and 7-Eleven, alongside Lotte subsidiaries like Lotte Duty-Free, Lotte HiMart, and Lotte Cinema."

Powered by Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5, 'Lotte Caliverse' offers users a unique virtual experience. They can shop at "digital stores, attend K-pop and electronic music concerts featuring artists like NMIXX and DJ ALOK, and explore music stages developed in collaboration with Tomorrowland, one of the world’s largest electronic dance music festivals." Additionally, users can participate in games such as 'Caliverse: Invasion,' where they combat alien threats, with future capabilities to create their own games.

Kima Kim, CEO of Caliverse, emphasized the initiative's vision to reshape retail and entertainment by blending real-life interactions with blockchain-based opportunities, marking a significant step toward a sustainable creator economy.
