Mini beauty stores are transforming travel-sized products from supplementary offerings into a dedicated retail category centered on discovery and trial. BEAUTYSPACE is introducing Little Luxuries in New York City, a 765-square-foot store featuring premium mini products from more than 100 established and emerging brands. The assortment spans skincare, haircare, makeup, fragrance, bath and body, tools and accessories. Rewards members can also apply the value of eligible mini purchases toward corresponding full-size products online, connecting physical discovery with digital purchasing.
The format lowers the commitment required to experiment with prestige products while giving participating brands another way to introduce shoppers to their assortments. For BEAUTYSPACE, the concept creates a consumer-facing extension of its existing wholesale business and encourages repeat purchases through full-size redemption. Planned locations beyond New York could also help establish minis as a standalone beauty retail segment.
