The Light Up Atlanta exhibit offers a great way to expose people to the world of art and culture on a daily basis. This is made possible because it is located in MARTA train stations across Atlanta. Therefore, commuters get to enjoy a dose of abstract art to and from work with ease.
Commissioned by C.H. Briggs, a local building products distributor, the Light Up Atlanta exhibit showcases the works of some of Atlanta’s best designers, who were asked to create pieces that evoked what Atlanta means to them. These include Shelly-Anne Tulia Scott's Peeling Back the Heart at Five Point station and Ted Freeman's Hot-lanta Fan, which is also at Five Points.
