The Li Wei non-photoshopped portfolio showcases the candid mid-air work of the Beijing-based artist. While Wei has been a favorite among communities who have come to deeply appreciate his aerial style, few have been privy to his unedited shots.
Wei has managed to release a hefty assortment of apparitions via his camera, subjects and backdrop only. Interestingly, the models that he has chosen to work with appear calm and collected, even as they balance upside down or above towering water fountains. It is in this way that he has made his images appear almost organic, capturing his subjects in what oddly enough appears to be their most natural of states. The floating bodies are nonetheless surreal, especially as they are clad in space suits and lime green tights.
