The Lee Jean Youn Fall 2014 Looks Feature Some Unusual Styles

The Lee Jean Youn Fall 2014 collection took some risks at New York Fashion Week, especially since the collection was called 'Waist Down' and a lot of the looks only covered models’ breasts with a single strap that just provided enough nipple coverage. Dangerouly spiked heels were another staple of the show that might prove challenging to wear. Still, the show was full of fantasy and plenty of riveting outfits.

On his official website, Lee Jean Youn Fall provides a few phrases to define the type of woman he designed this collection for. One line reads that she’s "living in culture yet longing for nature." Nature and animal-inspired motifs were a huge part of the collection, fronm wolf pelt scarves to feathers, army prints and colorful insects on hats.

The show was host to a number of unusual accessories, including blue floral lace pieces that adorned the jawlines and necks of models like beards, and spiked harnesses complete with a collar and leash that attached to a wrist cuff. The highlights of the show were definitely the denim pieces adorned with gold detailing that came out near the end.
