ISSEY Miyake Marks Its 30th Year with L’Eau d’Issey

Luxury fragrance label ISSEY Miyake is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with a re-launch of its iconic L’Eau d’Issey. Back in the early 90s, this women's cologne was revolutionary because of its "warm and sea-like scent" that embraced subtle notes of rose and lotus. Overall, this creation—much like the rest of ISSEY Miyake's range—takes cues from the powers of nature.

The luxury label pays homage with a re-release of L’Eau d’Issey, featuring a beautiful and elegant bottle, as well as a collaboration with artists Elisa Valenzuela and Luiz Zerbini. Inspired by the legacy of the brand and the ethos of this fragrance, Valenzuela developed imagery and short poems that complement the perfume. These are available in both digital and physical formats. Zerbini, on the other hand, paid homage to L’Eau d’Issey with nine stunning painted monotypes.
