Thanks to a new feature built into its platform, there's a new way to learn language on Perplexity. On iOS and the web, users can now practice words and basic terms, or make the most of flashcards to learn and memorize advanced phrases. Perplexity co-founder Aravind Sriniwas shared, “Answers need to go beyond text to interactive experiences and cards embedded into the stream of tokens.”

Without needing to access a second app, Perplexity users can participate in conversations, ask questions and switch between languages and get instant feedback or translations. This AI-powered language tutor has the potential to speed up the learning process, make users conversational faster, all while adding value to the platform and helping users sidestep specific language learning app subscriptions.
