Longchamp Has Announced the New 'Le Pliage Green' Collection

To the delight of green fashion lovers everywhere, Longchamp has just announced the debut of its new 'Le Pliage Green' collection.

Longchamp‘s Le Pliage handbag is a staple for many fashion-savvy consumers, and now the iconic bag is getting a sustainable makeover. The French brand recently announced the launch of the Le Pliage Green collection, which consists of select Le Pliage styles — including the popular shoulder tote — made up of repurposed material. More specifically, the new bags will be made up of recycled versus virgin nylon, which will reduce each bag’s carbon footprint by nearly 20%. In fact, the company is so committed to these sustainable efforts that it plans to transition the entire Le Pliage line to recycled material by 2022.

Longchamp’s new Le Pliage Green collection will officially launch on July 20, 2021.
