Lucian Matis Fall 2012 Collection Showcases Fake Lace Nails

Romanian fashion designer Lucian Matis has showcased Gothic-like looks complete with long, fake lace nails at his Fall/Winter 2012 display. Now based in Toronto and a previous Ryerson University student, Matis has been well-known for his ability to produce dark and dramatic designs which have in the past featured exaggerated hairdos, feather trimmings, over-the-top shoulder pieces and almost opaque tights.

Matis' Fall/Winter 2012 models ooze a cryptic demeanor with their kohl eye make-up and long, exaggerated yellow and black lace nail additions. Echoing this past years Black Swan fever, Matias' bold nails suggest that some daring seasons are on the horizon, complete with ebony-hued trimmings. For those looking to add some edge to their enamel routines, some extra embroidery might spice things up.
