Award-Winning Non-Alcoholic Spirits

Kava Haven is the Best Non-Alcoholic Botanical Spirit

The beverage company Kava Haven has received the Best Non-Alcoholic Botanical Spirit distinction at the annual Sans Bar Awards, which is described as the "first live, publicly-voted awards ceremony dedicated solely to the non-alcoholic beverage industry." The kava-based functional spirit was said to have "captured an overwhelming 72 percent of all votes."

Kava Haven's product is distinguished by its use of kava root, a botanical historically consumed in the South Pacific for its calming properties. The formulation is effectively marketed as a functional alternative to alcoholic beverages that provides a relaxing effect without intoxication.

Billy Grady, co-founder of Kava Haven, shares about the meaning behind the honor: "This award means more than we can put into words. Kava Haven would not exist without the people who've built this category, those who create spaces for non-alc discovery and use their platforms and communities to educate. We're grateful to be a small part of this movement."
