There are a number of ways to tell a story and Katherine Cambareri hones in on a more atypical path. The photographer has decided to capture the clothing worn by sexually assaulted victims in order to bring a sad truth to light. Many of these victims are accused of inviting the attacks by the outfits they are wearing. But when laid out as they are here, Katherine Cambareri shows the world how ludicrous that belief is.
Dubbed "Well, What Were You Wearing?," Katherine Cambareri's photo series is incredibly powerful. She says, "I decided to document what victims wore at the time they were assaulted to show that there is no type of clothing that causes assaults to occur." It's hard to argue with that.
