Schofield has launched the ‘Japanese Beater B5’ to accompany its previous ‘Japanese Bronze Beater B4.’ The British watchmaker describes the ‘B5’ as its “prettiest Schofield to date,” as it incorporates soft pink and plum shades in its design. The watch boasts a 44mm version of the stainless steel Schofield ‘Brutalist’ case, a sterling silver and enamel case back, and a plum tree motif that is inspired by manhole covers in Fuchū, Tokyo, Japan.
The dial of the watch is dipped in a “muted, blossom-colored” shade, contrasting with the rich plum shade of the band. Super-LumiNova C3 accents and brushed gold decorate the hands. The watch also arrives with Schofield’s signature lapel pin, this time decorated with a Japanese plum canvas strap that is colored with natural dyes.
