Jantine van Peski is a menswear and jewelry designer born in the Netherlands. As a former Haider Ackermann intern, her designs explore silhouettes and structure. With her inspirations including biker clothing, surgical instruments and the punk movement, her clothing certainly has a strong opinion, which in itself, is something to be admired.

Implications - In a highly uniform world, there is a large sector of the consumer population eager to invest in fashions catered to their individual tastes. Designers whose collections target specific cultural subcategories such as 'hipster,' 'punk' or 'princess,' garner attention and loyalty from these groups, who continue to return to these specific designers for fresh ideas that help them feel a part of a given subculture.
