Researchers at the University of Toronto have developed a new digital tool that will help users choose their most Instagram-worthy outfit. Using a unique algorithm, the tool will help you determine exactly which #ootd shot is likely to garner the greatest number of the likes.
The tool works by analyzing pictures of your outfits and providing recommendations based on different criteria such as lighting, fashionability and setting. This information is provided on a scale and recommends small changes that can help improve the score of each outfit. Through the feedback the user receives, they can determine which garments or even which location will help their pictures become more popular.
While the tool is currently in a mock-up version, the researchers are working to help make it more widely accessible. Soon every budding fashionista could be using this tool to help determine their most Instagram-worthy outfit.
