IKEA Introduces the 'VAPPEBY' Portable Waterproof Speaker

IKEA has launched a new 'VAPPEBY' portable waterproof Bluetooth speaker as a part of its new tech collection. Boasting an IP67 waterproof rating for water and dust, the speaker offers silicone buttons that control pausing, playing, and other features that make it ideal for summer events. The 'VAPPEBY' also features a 2,600 mAh battery with up to 80 hours of playback time, a rope for easy carrying, USB-C charging, and a built-in LED light indicator.

IKEA also teased a new 'VAPPEBY' Bluetooth speaker lamp with similar features for outdoor enjoyment. The 'VAPPEBY' portable speaker comes in red, yellow, or black colorways and is available in the US, UK, and the Netherlands at a price point of $14.99 USD.
