Inaugural Anime-Inspired Retail Stores

HYPLAND Reccently Debuted Its First Retail Store in LA

HYPLAND, the Los Angeles-based streetwear brand, debuted its first retail store in the vibrant enclave of Little Tokyo. Founded by local entrepreneur Jordan Bentley, who was recognized in Forbes’ 30 Under 30, HYPLAND has swiftly garnered a dedicated following among enthusiasts of anime, gaming, and streetwear seeking distinctive apparel inspired by their favorite series.

The new retail space aims to foster a sense of community where gamers, anime aficionados, and streetwear enthusiasts can converge, shop, and socialize. Emulating the cozy ambiance of a true fan’s haven, the store will feature a curated selection of vintage home accessories — from vintage coffee table books to manga magazines and anime figurines, as well as gaming gear, and apparel. Alongside offerings from previous collaborations, customers can explore HYPLAND’s latest premium cut & sew line.

Visitors can engage in gameplay with a selection including PS5s, GameCubes, N64s, and arcade machines. Future plans for HYPLAND's store expansion include hosting community-driven events such as gaming tournaments, anime screenings, and live tattoo sessions, bolstered by appearances from renowned cosplayers, streamers, and gamers
