House of Anansi Announces It Will Open Its Doors for Holiday Shopping

With the pandemic, in-person shopping has not been as accessible as it once was, but the 'House of Anansi' has announced it will open its doors from December 18th to 19th.

House of Anansi is an independent book store that houses independent publishers 'House of Anansi Press' and 'Groundwood Books.' Both publishers focus on inclusivity and providing Canadian readers with books by Canadian authors. According to the website, House of Anansi continues "to break new ground with award-winning and bestselling books that reflect the changing nature of the world and the country" and focus on genres from fiction and nonfiction to lifestyle and poetry.

Bookworms and holiday shoppers can visit the store location on Sterling Road in Toronto, ON, from 12 pm to 5 pm this weekend.
